Rozier spent a number of years with Decca Navigator Systems working for the United States Defense Department on hyperbolic navigational systems. He was mostly stationed at Van Kiep, Baria, Phan Thiet and Tay Ninh.
He then stayed on in Vietnam teaching in Saigon and working as a freelance journalist until the end of the war.
